Notebook Check-

Dear Parents,

I hope that your daughter or son has been learning a few things about Church History this semester. It is now time for a last look at the notebook, and I think ou will be pleasantly surprised at the work your student has been doing. As part of this last check of their notebook, I am asking for your help and comments which I would appreciate greatly. First, the student should show you the notebook and explain it to you. Then, please read the shor tessay he or she ha written evaluating the notebook. Finally, would you give them a grade based on Notebook Presentation (30 points max.), Organization of the Notebook (10 points max.), and Neatness (10 points max.) Also, share your comments. I will then give a grade based on the reflection and self-evaluation paper, and the completeness of the notebook, all worth 50 points maximum. Thus the final evaluataion of the notebook will be worth 100 points. Please do all you can to have your student return this page (the rubric), along with the ocmpleted notebook, to me, by May 26, 2006. Please be aware that I do not accept late work. Thank you for your help in this exercise and over the past semester; I appreciate your effor to support and to be involved with your child's education.

Sincerely,

Corethia Qualls, Ph.D.
