Mrs. Mayeda began her teaching career in 1974 at Eisenhower Jr. High, where she taught
Geography, United States History, and Civics. In 1990 she became the Technology Director at
St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School, where she taught Computer Literacy from preschool
through eighth grade. She has been at Judge Memorial since 1994, starting in the Technology
Department and moving to her current position in the Social Studies Department in 1998.
She currently teaches Modern World History, United States History, and Economics.
In addition to her teaching duties, Mrs. Mayeda is the moderator for the Lady Bulldogs Soccer
Team, and co-moderator of the Senior Core. She also spent two years as the co-moderator
of the Judge yearbook, Basilean, and four years as the Chairperson of the Social Studies
Department.
Mrs. Mayeda received her B.A. in History from John Carroll University, and she also holds a
Level II endorsement in Computer Literacy and Mathematics. She is a member of the National
Council for the Social Studies and the Utah Council for the Social Studies.

She and her husband have three children, all of whom graduated from Judge Memorial.
